Dr. Jorge RIABOI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El nerviosismo que exhibi\u00f3 la pasada semana el Representante Comercial de Estados Unidos (USTR), el embajador Robert (Bob) Lighthizer, ante el fallo adverso que recibi\u00f3 su pa\u00eds del panel de la OMC que juzg\u00f3 los reclamos de China por el unilateral aumento de los aranceles de importaci\u00f3n que vienen afectando a una sustantiva porci\u00f3n de sus exportaciones a ese mercado, dej\u00f3 en el ambiente un tufillo a desconcierto pol\u00edtico y legal. Sus argumentos no conmovieron a una ciudad en la que hay m\u00e1s lobistas y consultores que gente normal. En Washington casi nadie ignora que los litigios se pueden ganar o perder sin necesidad de darle car\u00e1cter \u00e9pico a un enfoque mercantilista y chanta. (&#8230;) En semejante escenario es indispensable reconectar el cerebro. Con s\u00f3lo apelar el fallo ante el Organo de Soluci\u00f3n de Diferencias, Washington podr\u00eda dejar congelado el tema.
